  • Qingwei Wang, Ph.D.

    Dr. Qingwei Wang is Assistant Professor of Health Policy and Management at the Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. Dr. Wang graduated from Renmin University of China with a bachelor degree in Environmental Economics. He received a master's degree in Public Administration from Cornell University and doctoral degree in Population Health Sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

    Dr. Wang's research examines the broader social, economic, and political factors that drive the development of health system. His current work includes studies of the role of intersectoral governance, leadership and partnerships to stimulate and guide population health improvement, key issues in China health policy, and comparative analysis of health policies in China and the US.

  • Jiayu Chen

    Research Assistant

    Jiayu Chen worked in multiple universities including NYUSH and FDU, also as a freelance designer and education consultant. Chen is currently working in Xiamen Institute of Technology, lecturing on Intercultural Communication. Her research interests focus on creativity, new media, and digitally mediated cultural experiences.

  • Yu Ma

    Former Research Assistant

    Yu is currently a student in University of Bristol under PhD Social Policy programme. She joined in Wang’s research team since March 2023 and focused on the practice of ageing policies in China. Her research interests include old people’s health equity, flexible working and family bond using quantitative research methods.

  • Jiakang Zhu

    Research Assistant

    Bachelor of Economics, Suzhou University

    Jiakang Zhu is an undergraduate student majoring in finance at Soochow University. He currently works as a Research Assistant at Wang’s Research Group. His research interests include public policy, public health, and health economics. In the future he will continue his academic studies in the field of public health.

  • Xuetao Liu

    Research Assistant

    Bachelor of Arts in Filmmaking, XJTLU

    Xuetao Liu has interviewed more than 100 elderly people and is good at conducting research through visual anthropology documentaries, field surveys and interviews.

  • Yiyang Zhouzi

    Former Research Assistant

    Information Management and Information System Major in International Business School Suzhou at XJTLU

    Yiyang Zhouzi has been an accomplished professional in the field of compliance and energy research. He completed internships at Jiangsu Pingling Investment Group's Compliance Department and Tianmu Lake Institute of Advanced Energy Storage Technologies. He led a successful team in the 2023 Back-to-School Activities and served as the dedicated leader of the Model United Nations Community from 2020 to 2022, achieving recognition as the 2022 Changzhou Top Ten Students' Communities during Senior High.

    Yifei Jia is currently an accounting major undergraduate student at XJTLU. She works as an undergraduate research fellow at Wang’s Research Group. She has done research on elderly people.
